The “Best of the Festival” is the theme for our Mill Neck Family’s annual Apple Festival on Saturday and Sunday, October 9 and 10 from 11am – 4 pm. A long-standing tradition on Long Island since the 1950’s, this year’s festival, which fully benefits children and adults who are Deaf, will be a drive- thru “Grab & Go,” making it safe and easy to get your traditional fall must-haves during COVID. Get them on-the-spot or preorder online after Labor Day. Selections include the top three New York State apple picks and two sizes of boxed prepacked festival favorites, which include tasty butters, jelly, and honey.
Home to the Mill Neck Family of Organizations—committed to creating a world in which Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals are included, empowered, celebrated, and embraced as equals through quality educational, employment, audiological and spiritual programs and services.
A heartfelt thank you to all our extraordinary festival supporters over the years. While we would prefer to see our alumni reuniting, families walking our grounds, children rolling down the hill and faithful volunteers helping, as they have done for over 60 years, we hope this “Best of the Festival” event will keep the Mill Neck spirit within you until we can meet again the traditional festival way.
If you are unable to drop by, you can still participate in our largest fundraiser, simply visit our donation page and make a contribution today!
